About This Client
Bergen Medical Imaging Centers(BMI) is a 5000 sqare foot diagnostic imaging facility which provides nuclear imaging, ultrasound, bone density testing and cardiac monitoring services to over 600 physicians and patients in the New York metropolitan area. BMI initiates cutting edge information technology to enhance its services to the physicians and to reduce the cost of services.
About This Project
6FootMedia was engaged to develop a wireless web application which hooked up to physician profiles on BMI's servers. The application allows any user to enter their zip code and retrieve a list of physicians according to their specialty in the patient's home area. Because the physicians available on this system are providers who utilize BMI, this service increased the referral rate and loyalty of community physicians to the facility.
