Synopsis: Inspired by John Chismar's work for MSNBC, this promo was developed in 3D Studio Max. The animation was converted to various video formats for use on our corporate DVD and for display on this website.

About This Project
This animation was developed by 6Footmedia for promotional and advertising purposes. The globe was created by applying a black/white bitmap of the globe to a sphere object, and then using the bitmap again on the opacity channel.
The flying ticker line was created as a static bitmap in PhotoShop that was applied to the opacity channel of an extruded circle shape. It is then rotated around the globe.
The camera and the lights illuminating the scene are animated along a path to create an ambient environment surrounding the animation. The lens flare is created on a video post queue track.
